Dear students,

Thank you all for your comments about American politics and the 2016 election. I appreciate what you all have said, especially since I agree with all of you! I am a registered Democrat, so as such I will vote for whoever the Democratic candidate is. As many of you have observed, that will probably be Hillary Clinton. I think she has great strengths as well as some significant weaknesses. As for the Republicans: I strongly dislike Donald Trump, as I think his speeches show bigotry and xenophobia   ( there's a word to look up!). On the other hand, I think that the young Marco Rubio is appealing. If I were a Republican, I would probably vote for him.
